Description
Made with ethically sourced, natural fibers by a family of artisans in Ecuador.
This alpaca wool throw brings a rich, rhythmic warmth to a sofa, bed, or reading chair. Handwoven in the hills of Otavalo, Ecuador by a single family of traditional weavers whose shared expertise spans centuries, its saturated stripes of sage, mint, and deep green flow across the surface in a balanced, ancestral pattern.
After leaving the loom, the textile is hand-brushed using a native teasel plant — a traditional technique that relaxes the fibers and draws out a signature silky texture and subtle sheen. Every step of production is done entirely by hand, from spinning to final wooden-block ironing and hand-sewn edge detailing.
Lightweight yet substantial, hypoallergenic, and warm enough for all seasons.
