Crater Vase

Description

This Crater Vase brings a quiet, textural presence to a shelf or surface. Made from porcelain clay and finished with a distinctive crater glaze — frothy, porous, and slightly unpredictable — each piece develops its own surface character in the firing process. No two look exactly alike.

Designed for dry floral arrangements only, the crater glaze is not watertight — making it a beautiful vessel for dried botanicals, pampas grass, or sculptural branches.

Details Slip cast from porcelain clay, hand glazed and fired in house. Crater glaze is porous and not watertight — suitable for dry floral arrangements only. Measures 6" tall with a 1" opening. Available in three finishes — Black Crater (warmer black, less frothy texture), Gray Crater (soft gray with hints of blue and sometimes pink, more textured), and White Crater (warm white with hints of peach, more textured). Each piece varies naturally.
