Description

The glaze does almost nothing — which is the point. The Earth finish seals the clay and steps back, letting the natural colour of the material show through. What you hold is essentially the clay itself, shaped and carved by hand, revealed rather than decorated.

The fluted exterior lines are carved into the clay before firing, giving the surface a texture that feels intentional in the hand and helps prevent slipping. The handle is sized precisely — neither too small nor too generous. At 3.94" diameter and 3.54" high it holds a full cup. Because every piece is shaped and finished by hand, no two are identical. Subtle variations in form and finish are not imperfections — they are the signature of something genuinely made.
