This Kilua vase brings a quiet, considered presence to a shelf or table. Upcycled from old wine bottles in Zanzibar, its clean lines make it a simple, beautiful vessel for flowers — including the kilua itself, the small, fragrant magnolia-like flower found along the East African coast for which it's named.
In Swahili lore, the kilua carries a long history of allure and seduction — used to scent matrimonial rooms and considered an aphrodisiac. A flower with a story, held in a vessel with one of its own.
Details Upcycled from old wine bottles. Dark green glass. Measures 8" H. Made in Zanzibar.
Care Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth on the exterior. Rinse carefully with water when used as a flower vase. Handle with care to protect the glass.
