This pillow cover carries a quiet, distinctive beauty rooted in Zimbabwean craft tradition. The fabric is hand-woven into a bark weave pattern from 100% cotton, then decorated using Sadza batik — a resist-painting process where a paste made from maize (a traditional staple food in Zimbabwe) is painted onto the fabric by hand, dried in the sun, and then scraped away after baking to reveal a beautiful, crackled pattern beneath.

The result is a navy blue and rosy beige design that is impossible to replicate exactly — each piece its own quiet work of art.
