Hand-woven and hand-painted in Harare, Zimbabwe, employing and training local artisans through Zimbabwe's traditional Sadza batik craft.

This pillow cover brings a clean, quiet texture to a sofa or reading chair. The fabric is hand-woven into a bark weave pattern from 100% cotton, then decorated using Sadza batik — a resist-painting process where a paste made from maize is painted onto the fabric by hand, dried in the sun, and scraped away after baking to reveal a beautiful organic pattern beneath.

The white-on-white design is subtle and refined — a piece that adds depth and handmade character without drawing attention to itself.
