Handcrafted in Zimbabwe from recycled 40-gallon oil drums by local metal artisans.

A discarded oil drum becomes a snowy owl. That transformation — from industrial waste to something quietly majestic — is what makes this piece worth owning. Each owl is shaped entirely by hand, making every one slightly different from the last. A symbol of patience and endurance, rendered in metal that has already lived a life.

Works equally well indoors or out — on a front porch, an entryway shelf, a garden corner, or a mantle. If left outside, the metal will slowly develop a natural rust patina over time that is, honestly, part of the beauty. If you'd prefer to preserve the original finish, a light coat of clear varnish once or twice a year will do it.

Care Dust with a soft, dry cloth. If kept outdoors, the metal will naturally develop a rust patina over time — this is normal and adds character. To preserve the original finish outdoors, apply a light coat of clear varnish once or twice a year.
