Description
Handcrafted in Zanzibar by transforming discarded glass into lasting works of design while empowering local women through skills training and meaningful employment.
A discarded wine bottle becomes a clear glass jar, topped with a hand-carved lid made from Mkongo wood. Simple, useful, and quietly considered — the kind of object that holds its own on a table or counter without asking for attention.
Every piece is a small act of reclamation — of material, of livelihood, of possibility. Works equally well as a sugar jar, a jam jar, or a condiment server. Sold individually.
